Donate for Oct. 7 Sauk book sale

DIXON – Sauk Valley College Foundation members are accepting through Oct. 7 used books to be sold during the group’s annual book sale.

Books can be dropped off at the loading dock at the southwest corner of Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2. DVDs and CDs also will be accepted. Items that cannot be accepted include encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, Reader’s Digest condensed books, VHS cassettes, and books on tape.

This year’s book sale will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19, and noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Northland Mall, 2900 E. Lincolnway, Sterling. Hardcover, paperback, romance, suspense, historical, cooking, and children’s books will be available, as will CDs and DVDs.
