ROCK FALLS – Rosemary J. Browne, 80, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling. She was employed by National Manufacturing for 28 years.

Rosemary was born June 21, 1933, in Kewanee, the daughter of Eugene and Ethel (Golden) Brody. She married Howard C. Wolf. He preceded her in death in 1968. She married Ernest L. Browne on Dec. 4, 1973, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling. 

Survivors include her husband of Rock Falls; three daughters, Crystal (Tim) Lilly of Morrison, Valerie Wolf of Sterling, and Becky Wolf of Polo; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Dora German, Ava Royce and Charlotte Sarnes; and two brothers, Raymond Brody and Francis Brody.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday and the funeral at 2 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
