Grant competition taking place in Fulton program

FULTON – A new deadline, June 30, has been established to open an endowment through the Fulton Association for Community Enrichment.

Community Foundation of the Great River Bend, FACE’s parent organization, will mark its 50th birthday next year with a program to distribute grants to people and organizations. For the first 50 endowments that reach $10,000 by the deadline, the fund holder can recommend a $1,000 CFGRB grant, or up to four grants of $250 each, to nonprofit organizations.

The $50,000 in grants will be distributed by the 50 new fund holders at the foundation’s annual celebration in the Quad Cities.

Contact Connie Koehn, FACE executive director, at faceacommunityfoundation@gmail.com or 815-589-2646, or Barbara Melbourne, vice president of development at CFGRB, at 563-326-2840, for more information.
