DIXON – No arrests had been made as of Monday afternoon in a stabbing that occurred Thursday night outside of The Corner Spot, 510 Chicago Ave.

Police were called around 11:30 p.m. to a disturbance involving two men. One was taken to KSB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Lt. Brad Sibley said.

Corner Spot manager Mike Dalipi said that the cause of the fight seemed to stem from relationship troubles and that the two were asked to leave the bar almost immediately.

“We’re waiting for the case to go to the grand jury, and for a determination of what charges will be made,” Sibley said.

Names are not being released because the case is still under investigation, Lee County State’s Attorney Anna Sacco-Miller said.
