Reynolds also scored on a 1-yard plunge with 7:18 left in the game, and Ashton Rutherford’s two-point conversion run tied the score at 20.

Nick Newman led Oregon (2-2) with 162 yards on 20 rushes, and his 2-yard TD run 18 seconds before halftime put the Hawks on the board.

Rutherford finished with 53 yards rushing, and Garrett Rude added 49 rushing yards. Tyler Blume completed three of his six passes for 83 yards and a score. Oregon had 24 first downs to North Boone’s 14 and outgained the Vikings 406-349, including 323-103 on the ground.

Nathan Bodey threw for 246 yards and two TDs on 13-for-22 passing, and also led North Boone with 50 rushing yards.

Amboy 41, Riverdale 0: The Clippers’ first win of the season came in a rout over Three Rivers North foe Riverdale in Port Byron.

Jason Bontz ran for two touchdowns, and Liam Ohlendorf threw a TD pass and also had a TD run for Amboy (1-3, 1-0). Damon Quest caught Ohlendorf’s scoring strike, and Chris Jones and Jason Benhoff added TDs on the ground.

The Clippers led the Rams (0-4, 0-2) 7-0 after one quarter, then scored early and late in the second for a 21-0 halftime lead.

Eastland-Pearl City 46, Galena 7: Thanks to a 26-point second quarter, the Wildcatz rolled to an NUIC Northwest victory in Lanark.

Donny Groezinger had two TD runs in the period, while Devin Heeren added a short scoring run, and Mike Harrington scored on a 3-yard fumble return. Groezinger added two more TDs in the second half, the first on an 87-yard punt return and the second on a 9-yard run.

Walter Ollie started the scoring for EPC (4-0, 3-0) with an 8-yard run midway through the first quarter.

Stockton 48, AFC 0: The Blackhawks scored five first-half touchdowns and never looked back in an NUIC Upstate rout of the Raiders in Stockton.

Colton Broshous and Aric Jordan each ran for three touchdowns for Stockton (4-0, 4-0), the defending Class 1A runners-up. Broshous ran for 160 yards and Jordan added 150 as the Blackhawks outgained AFC (0-4, 0-4) 426-109.

Jake Hageman’s 22 rushing yards led the way for the Raiders.

Lena-Winslow 59, West Carroll 26: The Thunder had two different players score on kickoff returns, but the Panthers were just too much in an NUIC Northwest showdown in Lena.

Brandon Sturtevant returned a first-quarter kick 97 yards for a score, and Shaun Magill added a 90-yard kick return TD in the third quarter. Magill threw for 95 yards, including a 44-yard scoring strike to Trevor Jones for the final points of the game.

Devin Saunders added a 61-yard TD run in the first quarter, as the Thunder (0-4, 0-3) trailed just 14-12 after the opening 12 minutes. But Le-Win (3-1, 3-0) scored 45 points over the next two quarters to put the game away.
