Behaviors part of Alzheimer’s class

DIXON – The Alzheimer’s Association – Central Illinois Chapter, Rock River Branch, will present Reconnect: Interacting with Dementia.

The program is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the branch office, 92 S. Hennepin Ave.

Nancy Sweitzer, program director with the chapter, will present information on helping caregivers cope with the communication and behavioral changes of someone with Alzheimer’s.

The cost is $5. Registration is required by Friday; call 815-285-1100 or 800-272-3900. The program is co-funded by United Way of Lee County.
