Wellness program in mid-October

OREGON – Healthy Aging: Live Long and Live Well will cover daily habits and food choices and the affect they have on health indicators such as blood pressure.

Marilyn Csernus, University of Illinois Extension nutrition and wellness educator, MS, RD, CDE, registered dietitian, and certified diabetes educator, will present the program from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Ogle County Extension office, 421 W. Pines Road.

The cost is $5; all are welcome. Healthy recipes will be provided along with a cooking demonstration and recipe sampling.
