Society starts fall with entertainer

STERLING – The Sterling Rock Falls Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at New Life Lutheran Church, 702 W. Lynn Blvd.

Andy Hogan of Tulsa, Okla., an historian, entertainer, and Will Rogers Museum guide, will give the program on the life of Rogers.

The public is welcome to attend; there is no charge.

The society also plans to have a “treasure” sale Nov. 2 and 3 to raise money for the new Lincoln Learning Center, next to the Lincoln-Manahan house, 607 E. Third St.
