Flashback Drive-In Horrorfest full of frightful flicks Saturday

STERLING – A horrific weekend lies ahead Saturday as the annual dusk-to-dawn Flashback Drive-In Horrorfest returns Saturday to the historic Midway Drive-In and Diner, 91 Palmyra Road between Dixon and Sterling.

The 1985 film “Fright Night” will start the lineup, followed by 1975’s “Death Race 2000,” then 1988’s “Friday the 13th, Part 7 (It’s the 25th anniversary) and finally, 1974’s drive-in and grindhouse classic, “Nightmare Circus.”

Admission to all four is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 3 to 11. Gates open at 7 p.m. The first show starts at 8 p.m., and there’s a diner on site.
