ROCK FALLS — The autopsy of a Rock Falls man whose body was found Tuesday night in Holland Creek, just off the Rock River, proved inconclusive, Whiteside County Sheriff Kelly Wilhelmi said Wednesday.

Further tests and toxicology reports are pending.

Authorities responded to a call of a body in the water at about 7 p.m. and found the fully clothed body of Dennis J. McGinn, 64, in the creek near the end of Harbor Drive, a private road just east of Rock Falls. McGinn's property abuts the creek.

At this time, authorities are treating it as an accidental death, with no foul play suspected, Wilhelmi said.
