DIXON – Bryan Alex Schrimpf, 20, of Dixon, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.  

Bryan was born March 10, 1993, in Libertyville, the son of Timothy Schrimpf and Michelle Petersen.  

Survivors include his son, Eastyn Schwartz, his daughter, Addyson Schwartz, his fiancée, Kait Schwartz, and his mother, Michelle Kehl, all of Dixon; his father, Timothy Schrimpf of Lakemoor; his stepmother, Tina Schrimpf of Ingleside; his stepfather, Keith Kehl of Dixon; five brothers, Darrin Schrimpf and Damien Kehl, both of Dixon, Travis Schrimpf of Ingleside, Kenneth (Amanda Thurnherr) Fogelstrom of Glendale, Ariz., and Austyn Schrimpf of Lakemoor; four sisters, Samantha (Bryan) Fuller of El Paso, Texas, Kimberly Kehl of Dixon, Courtney Schrimpf of Lakemoor, and Kelly (Jack) Harris of Fox Lake; maternal grandparents, Celia Petersen of Dixon and Arnold Petersen of Freeburg; paternal grandmother, Annegret Schrimpf of Wauconda; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and countless longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Fred Schrimpf.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and the funeral at 7 p.m. Friday at The Worship Center, 403 N. Ottawa Ave., Dixon, with the Rev. Michael F. Cole and the Rev. Michael J. Cole, pastors, officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his children, Eastyn and Addyson Schwartz.
