CHICAGO (AP) — A United Airlines flight from Chicago to Brussels turned back several hours after takeoff because of what the airline called a suspected security concern, but authorities say no arrests were made.
United spokeswoman Jennifer Dohm says Flight 972 landed safely at O'Hare International Airport at 10:07 p.m. Friday and law enforcement met the aircraft.
FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde confirmed that agents responded but says they made no arrests.
Neither she nor the airline would provide any details on the nature of the suspected security concern.
The airline says it put passengers on an alternate flight to Brussels.
