Retired teachers to have luncheon

MORRISON – Whiteside Retired Teachers’ Association will meet Sept. 19.

They will enjoy a luncheon at noon at Prairie Ridge Golf Club, 903 W. Morris St. The cost is $10.

The program will feature Robert “Bob” Lyons, a trustee from the Illinois State Teachers’ Retirement System and a member of Illinois Retirement Security Initiative Outreach Group.

Betty Clementz , WRTA president, also will discuss chapter activities.

All retired educators are welcome.

Reservations must be made before Friday.
