Gloria J. Pritchard

OREGON – Gloria J. Pritchard, 65, of Oregon, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

She was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Oregon, the daughter of John and Betty (Ennenga) Clapper. She worked as a machine operator for Quebecor for more than 25 years. Gloria was a member of East Oregon Church of God. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved spending time with other children, who would lovingly call her “Grandma” as well. In her spare time, she enjoyed books, going to the movie theater, and vacationing in Florida.

She is survived by her daughters, Heidi (Keith) McGlown and Shery Perez, both of Dixon; mother, Betty Roberts; siblings, John (Cheri) Clapper of Oregon, James (Roberta) Clapper of Leaf River, and Debra (George) Cox of Mount Morris; and grandchildren, Samantha Perez, and Xavier, Xander, Kenneth, Elijah, Shakia, Dentrell, and Kyarra McGlown.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Brett in infancy; niece, Stephanie Bormes; and grandparents, John and Catherine Ennenga and Harry and Miley Clapper.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and the memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at East Oregon Church of God, with the Rev. John Guthrie, pastor, officiating. A dinner will follow. Arrangements were completed by Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Oregon.
