Alzheimer’s group to host program

The Alzheimer’s Association will present “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease.”

The program will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Flagg Rochelle Public Library, 619 Fourth St., Rochelle; and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14 at the Rock River Branch, 93 S. Hennepin Ave. in Dixon.

Nancy Sweitzer, education director for the Central Illinois Chapter, will explain the difference between normal memory changes associated with growing older and memory loss that disrupts daily life.

Reservations must be made Friday for the Dixon seminar, which is co-funded by United Way of Lee County.

The cost is $5.
