Police investigate Monday shooting

CLINTON – Clinton police are investigating a Monday night shooting.

According to a news release, police responded at 10:22 p.m. to 2328 N. Fifth St. to a report of armed suspects forcibly entering the residence. Before officers arrived, information came in that one of the residents had been shot. All suspects fled before police arrived.

Lucas Snodgrass was found outside of the residence, with a gunshot wound, by officers arriving on the scene.

He was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact either the police station at 243-1458 or Clinton County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-883-8015.
