Christian women plan next gathering

ROCK FALLS – The Rock River Valley Area Christian Women's Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 18 at the Candlelight Inn, 2200 First Ave.

Elaine James of Elmhurst will be the special guest, discussing "A Day in the Life of Marjorie Overload." James is an author, personality trainer, actress, and storyteller, and contributes to an e-magazine. Jeanine Pitman, a financial advisor from Dixon, will present a special feature. The Chamberlain Family from Good Book Store in Dixon will perform special music.

The cost is $10 per person, including the meal, tax, tip, and program. Reservations and cancellations are due by 9 p.m. Sept. 16; call Irene at 815-948-2107 to sign up.
