Area sites closed for Labor Day

STERLING – Federal offices and banks will be closed Monday for Labor Day.

Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Chadwick, Dixon, Oregon, and Sterling are closed Saturday for the holiday. The facilities will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Public libraries closed Monday for the holiday include Pankhurst Memorial in Amboy; Mills and Petrie in Ashton; Chadwick; Dixon; Franklin Grove; Schmaling in Fulton; Wysox in Milledgeville; Odell in Morrison; Mount Morris; Oregon; Polo; Henry C. Adams in Prophetstown; Rock Falls; and Sterling.
