Ryan Dixon leads Dukes

Young’s medalist round sends Bureau Valley to win

Ryan Dixon earned medalist honors with a 2-over-par 38 and led the Dixon Dukes to a narrow triangular meet win over Freeport and Rochelle on Thursday at Timber Creek in Dixon.

DIxon's other scoring rounds included a 46 from Cord Schroeder, a 49 from Austin Thomas and a 50 from Cole Ruckman. The Dukes edged Rochelle 183-184. Freeport had a score of 189.

Stockton 155, Polo 193: Trey Timpe shot an even-par 36 to lead Stockton to the 38-stroke win over Polo at Edgewood in Polo.

Dylan Bushman had Polo's low round with a 47. Graye Freeman was AFC's lone varsity golfer. He shot a 41.

Bureau Valley 198, Midland 205: Ryan Young's 5-over-par 41 paced the Storm in their seven-stroke win over Midland at Crooked Knee in Henry.

BV's other scoring rounds were a 49 from Jacob Heidenreich, a 50 from Logan Twidell and a 58 from Brock Lally.
