Route 92 to close for railroad work

OTTAWA – A railroad crossing at State Route 92 in Normandy will be closed starting Sept. 3 for replacement.

Union Pacific Railroad will rebuild the grade crossing. Work is expected to take 7 days. Eastbound traffic should head south on state Route 40 to Interstate 80, then east to state Route 26, and north back to Route 92. Drivers heading west should travel south on 26 to 80, then west on 80 to Route 40 and north to 92.
