Genealogists help family researchers

STERLING – Whiteside County Genealogists will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the meeting room at Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, 211 Locust St.

Guests with questions or problems related to family research are welcome. There is no cost to attend.

Plans for the Oct. 5 cemetery walk at Riverside Cemetery also will be discussed.

The walk will highlight early residents who impacted the community. Sterling Public Library and Sterling-Rock Falls Historical Society make the event possible.
