STERLING – Ola C. Berry, 81, of Sterling, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She was a homemaker.

Ola was born April 3, 1932, in Zion, Mo. the daughter of Robert and Ollie (Parson) Stevens. She married John Berry on May 3, 1952, in Marvel, Ark. She was a member of Como Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband of Sterling; two daughters, Connie (Chris) Jacobs of Amboy and Barbara (Richard) Oncken of Washington, Ill.; two sons, Roger (Barb) Berry of Geneseo and Bryan Keith (Jackie) Berry; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
