Group grateful to all who aided ice cream event

Published: Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 1:15 a.m. CDT

The Sterling-Rock Falls Historical Society would like to thank community members for their generous support of the ice cream social held at the Lincoln Learning Center on Aug. 11.

The money raised by the event will go toward phase two, which is the renovation of the Lincoln Learning Center to use for museum, educational and community activities.

We would specifically like to thank the following people and sponsors: Matt Berge, AlA, the architect, Connection Architecture, Culver’s, Scott Wolber, Dennis De Langhe, Walgreens, and all the ladies who baked the great pies. We also would like to thank Sauk Valley Media for its continuing support.

When the final architectural and renovation plans are finalized, we will share them with the Sterling-Rock Falls community.

Note to readers: Ed Ebersohl is the president of the Sterling-Rock Falls Historical Society.
