NORTH AURORA (AP) — Seven teenagers from North Aurora are charged with misdemeanors in connection with homemade bomb explosions.
Six so-called "Drano bombs" exploded between late May and early June. Police say they were made from plastic bottles and household chemicals. There were no injuries.
The Beacon-News reports Wednesday (http://bit.ly/1d2QB3z) that six 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old are charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police say the teens have been referred to Kane County Juvenile Court Services.
