Royal Neighbors feed children

TAMPICO – Royal Neighbors of America served more than 1,800 meals to children this summer in Tampico.

Members of Thomas Chapter 1570 and Prophetstown Chapter 516 took part in the “Let’s Feed Our Children” free lunch program provided by United Way of Whiteside County.

Rock River Food Bank in Sterling gave lunch boxes to students.

More than 33,000 meals were served throughout the county.
