Computer series starts Sept. 12

OREGON – Rock River Center scheduled a free basic computer class series for Sept. 12, 19 and 26.

Sessions will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Community Technology Center, 810 S. 10th St.

Each session will cover different topics, including computers, terminology, the Internet, Microsoft Word 2010, and file and folder management.

Those interested may register for one, two or three sessions. Space is limited. The instructor is Kathe Wilson of Oregon Public Library.

The CTC is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Help with smartphones and tablets also is available by appointment.
