4-H Hall of Fame inducts largest class

URBANA – The Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame recognized 65 new inductees Aug. 10 at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield.

The ninth class – the largest ever – includes Joan Harms of Carroll County, Katie Pratt of Lee County, and Forrest Floto of Ogle County.

Members are recognized for their dedication and generosity.

Each received a commemorative medallion.

The Illinois 4-H Foundation established its hall of fame in 2004 to honor alumni, volunteers, and former staff.

Nominations are made by University of Illinois Extension staff.
