Bank offers European tour

SHANNON – First State Bank Shannon-Polo-Lake Carroll will host an 11-day tour of Holland and Germany April 24 through May 3. 

The adventure, which begins in Amsterdam, and ends in Munich, is open to the public. Cabin space is limited. 

It will include a cruise on Rhine River; visits to Anne Frank’s house, Keukenhof Gardens, Heidelberg Castle, the Van Gogh and Kröller Müller museums, Rüdesheim vineyards, Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum, Linderhof Palace, Neuschwanstein Castle, and Oberammergau; a city tours of Cologne and a wine-tasting, gala with dancing, and Bavarian cuisine.  

A preview meeting will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 in the lobby at Shannon bank, 1 S. Linn St. Reservations are needed for seating.
