Four local hospitals are among many in northern Illinois that are getting state grants for construction and infrastructure work, the governor’s office said Thursday in a news release.
The money is part of $24.3 million from the Illinois Jobs Now! capital construction program, which aims to address the critical needs of health care institutions, the release said.
CGH Medical Center in Sterling will receive $221,907 for a fire suppression system in the clinic building.
KSB Hospital in Dixon will receive $215,000 to renovate the patient registration area.
Morrison Community Hospital will receive $170,450 for a fire suppression system.
Rochelle Community Hospital will receive $173,240 for IT upgrades.
