Christian women plan next meeting

ROCK FALLS – The Rock River Valley Area Christian Women’s Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Candlelight Inn, 2200 First Ave.

Shirley Wheatley of Alton will be the special guest. A retired teacher, counselor, and administrator, Wheatley will discuss her cup collection and talk about her “Cups of Life” experiences.

Kathy Collinson, with “Silver Sneakers” at the YWCA of the Sauk Valley in Sterling, will give the special feature. Hannah Seavey, a soloist from Chadwick, will perform special music.

The cost is $10 per person, including the meal, tax, tip, and program.

Reservations and cancellations are due by 9 p.m. Monday; call Irene at 815-948-2107 to sign up.
