One shot makes difference at RRC

A chip-in to save par on the 35th hole sent Shady Oaks' Dave Kemp to victory Sunday in the Rock River Classic at Prophetstown's Prophet Hills Country Club. Kemp's par save on the penultimate hole helped him shoot a 34 on the back nine Sunday, and his two-day score of 146 earned him medalist honors by one stroke over runner-up Josh Kunde of Emerald Hill. Kunde went on to win the Best Against Bogey award with a +16. Kemp finished at +14.
