CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities say 11 people were hurt, including nine children, after an SUV rolled over on Interstate 57 on Chicago's South Side. All are expected to survive.

Illinois State Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says none of the injuries from Friday morning's crash are life threatening. The children are between the ages of 3 and 14, but weren't wearing seatbelts or in safety restraints.

Bond says the Chicago woman who was driving the Chevrolet Suburban is expected to face charges for child endangerment and drunken driving. She declined to release the woman's name because formal charges haven't yet been filed.

The crash happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Authorities say the driver lost control of the SUV, which went up an embankment and rolled over onto its roof.

Rock Falls is considering a ban on leaf burning. Should the city finally take that step?
Yes. Sterling and Dixon have had bans for years. It’s time for Rock Falls to impose a ban.
No. It would be too great a burden for homeowners to dispose of fallen leaves in other ways.
