Raymond L. Bustos III

MORRISON – Raymond L. Bustos III, 68, of rural Morrison, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at his home. He worked for Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. for 27 years.

He was born June 8, 1945, in Rock Island, a son of Norma (Griffith) and Raymond Bustos II. He married Jackie Fenner on Aug. 27, 1966, in Moline. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Morrison.

Survivors include his wife of Morrison; his mother of Silvis; three sons, Ray Bustos IV of Germany, James (Ginger) Bustos of Asheville, N.C., and Brian (Lisa) Bustos of Murphysboro; four sisters, Ramona Welsh of Colorado Springs, Colo., Rosemary Sajak of Aurora, Rita (Greg) Kalb of East Moline, and Rebecca (David) Gussee of Aurora; two brothers, Robert (Marge) Bustos and Ronald Bustos, both of East Moline; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Private burial will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Fulton is handling arrangements.
