MORRISON – Carlene J. Planthaber-Chapman, 70, of Morrison, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison. She was employed by General Electric Co. in Morrison.

She was born Sept. 22, 1942, in Morrison, the daughter of Mary E. (Reynolds) and Carl J. Planthaber Sr. She married Frank Chapman.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Chapman of Davenport, Iowa, and Frankie Chapman of Moline; two grandchildren; two sisters, Barb (Don) Skibbe and Sue (Cal) Wing, both of Morrison; one brother, Carl J. (Wanda) Planthaber Jr. of Camanche, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Mary Jane Everly.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, with the Rev. Jim Brown, pastor of Mount Zion Community Church in East Moline, officiating. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

A memorial has been established to Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison.
