School registration starts Monday in Ohio

OHIO – Registration for all Ohio School District students will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday in Room 111 at 103 Memorial St.

The textbook rental cost will be $45 for children from kindergarten to eighth grade, and $55 for students in ninth through 12th grades. All students will have a $5 hall locker fee.

Those in sixth through 12th grades will be charged $3 for a physical education locker. Students in sixth through 12th grades must buy a PE uniform, which is $11.

Art costs will be $5 for students fifth through eighth grade, and $10 per semester for students in ninth through 12th grades. Students in fourth grade will pay $7 for their band lesson books.

Milk at break time for all students, including those with free and reduced lunch, will be $30 per semester or 35 cents per day.

Reduced lunch will cost 40 cents, while reduced breakfast will cost 30 cents.

A student accident insurance program is available.

All high school students must supply Social Security numbers at registration.

The first day of classes for students in first to 12th grades will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 15.

Kindergarten students and parents will meet with teacher Kristen Ryan during a scheduled time, given at registration.

Early dismissal will be at 2 p.m. through Aug. 30.
