DIXON – Kimberly A. Landwer, 25, of Dixon, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born May 17, 1988, in Waukegan, to Robert G. Landwer Jr. and Sonja L. Cover. She was a certified nursing assistant at Franklin Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

She is survived by her mother, Sonja (Liz Imel) Cover of Dixon; her father, Robert Landwer Jr. (Joan) of Round Lake Beach; her significant other, Benjamin Esgar, and their son, Caleb Esgar of Dixon; a daughter, Rylie Landwer of Bettendorf, Iowa; a brother, Michael Cover of Dixon; her grandparents, John Cover and Richard Cover, both of Dixon, Betty Collins of Rock Falls, and Hilda Landwer of Round Lake Beach; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Landwer Sr.; and her grandmother, Pauline Cover.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Wade Buzzard, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Windridge Cemetery in Cary. Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon is handling arrangements.
