Hopeful zoning decision affects re-election

These people are up for re-election to Whiteside County Board.

These people overrode the zoning board’s majority vote of 5-2 to stop zoning even more land to strip mining. These people voted to destroy even more valuable farmland to be bagged up and sold; one bag at a time through retail stores.

They are as follows: Sue Britt, Robert Bradley, Mark Costner, Glen Frank, Kurt Glazier, Paul Kuniff, William Milby, Ruth Stanley, Glen Truesdell and Doug Wetzell.

If you approve of strip mining, vote them back in. If you disapprove of the continuing destruction of valuable, producing agriculture lands and everyone who makes a living off of it – from ADM employees to the farmhand and the farmer caught in the middle – vote them out.

Remember, they can’t manufacture more farmland – not even in a Third World country, which is what we’ll be when we run out of enough land to feed our people.

No farms, ... no food.
