Hope of Hope to have aircraft day

MORRISON – “Flight of Hope,” a radio-controlled aircraft fly-in, will benefit for Home of Hope Cancer Wellness Center in Dixon.

Registration will be at 9 a.m., Aug. 11, with flying at 10 a.m., at Rockwood Field in Morrison-Rockwood State Park, 18750 Lake Road. The landing fee is $15 per plane.

Pilots must be members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and have AMA insurance to participate.

The benefit, sponsored by Morrison Model Aircraft Flyers and the Quad City SkyRaiders, will include a 50/50 drawing and food.
