Oct. 1 vs. Capitals: The Hawks will raise their 2013 Stanley Cup championship banner to the United Center rafters in front of Hart Trophy winner Alex Ovechkin and former Hawks teammate Troy Brouwer during the season opener.
Oct. 19 vs. Maple Leafs: Dave Bolland, who scored the goal in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals to give the Hawks their second Stanley Cup in four seasons, will make his first appearance at the United Center after being traded June 30.
Nov. 2 at Jets: Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews will play his first NHL game in his hometown of Winnipeg.
Nov. 19-30: The Hawks will embark on their annual Circus Trip, the first of two seven-game journeys. The November odyssey, which will include the first of two meetings against the arch-rival Canucks, is usually a good barometer for how the Hawks stack up against the league.
Jan. 19 vs. Bruins: The 2013 Stanley Cup Final opponents meet for the first time since the Hawks hoisted the Cup in Boston in June.
Jan. 22 at Red Wings: The Original Six rivals will meet for the first of two contests after battling it out in the Western Conference for so many seasons.
Feb. 27 at Rangers: The first game after the 3-week break for the Olympic Winter Games will be an Original Six matchup.
March 1 vs. Penguins at Soldier Field: Two of the NHL’s top franchises will square off in the middle of the Bears’ stadium during a night game that should feature a festive atmosphere.
March 16 at Red Wings: Any meeting between the Original Six rivals is special, including this showdown in Motor City.
April 11-12: The Hawks will conclude the 2013-14 regular season with a challenging set of back-to-backs, first in Washington and then in Nashville.
