MOUNT CARROLL – Benjamin Earl Clark, 22, of Mount Carroll, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at his home.

Ben was born Aug. 17, 1990, in Savanna, to Fred and Tina (James) Clark. He was a 2009 graduate of West Carroll High School. At WCHS, Ben enjoyed baseball, and was a member of FFA. He enjoyed reading about military history and weaponry. He also enjoyed spending time listening to music, having bonfires, playing video games, and being with his family, friends, and cousins. Ben was working at Walmart Distribution Center in Rock Falls as a material handler.

Ben will be dearly missed by his father, Frederick A. (Shelley Russell) Clark, his mother, Tina M. (Tim) McNutt, and a brother, Freddie Clark, all of Mount Carroll; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including Lynnette, Paul, and Jayden Forth, Tasha, Tony, Michael, and Maya Croffoot, Brenda, Raymond, and Michael Wickes, Wesley, Brad, Scott, Matt, and Alisha James, Karen Bemowski, Linda Webster, and Steve and Macy Florence.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home in Mount Carroll. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established.
