STERLING – More than 40 businesses and organizations will be on hand at Sauk Valley Media’s annual Senior Showcase, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at Northland Mall.

Information will be available on health care providers, caregivers, retirement planning, insurance coverage, long-term care, nutrition, and many other subjects of interest to the growing market of consumers 50 and older.

“This will be the 15th year for this great event, and it just seems to get bigger and better each year,” said Ed Bushman, general manager of the Telegraph in Dixon.

“The vendors at this show are prepared to answer any questions on senior living, retirement, health care and so much more. The over-50 crowd loves this event and returns year after year to gain knowledge of new companies and products designed just for them.”

Admission to the showcase, also is sponsored by CGH Medical Center, KSB Hospital, Moore Monument & Granite Co. and Gaffey Home Nursing & Hospice, is free.
