Orders due today for corn boil

STERLING – The Sterling Schools Foundation’s annual corn boil will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Sterling High School commons, 1608 Fourth Ave.

Selmi’s bicolor sweet corn will be served along with a pulled pork sandwich, chips, a Golden Warrior cookie from Folsom’s Bakery, and water or lemonade.

The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students who dine in or pick up at the cul-de-sac in front of Centennial Auditorium.

Lunchtime deliveries will be made to Sterling and Rock Falls businesses from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Orders must be emailed to foundation@sterlingschools.org or faxed to 815-626-4000 by noon today.

Proceeds benefit foundation programs.
