Cubs prospect Arismendy Alcantara hit a long home run to right field in Sunday’s Futures Game off Red Sox prospect Anthony Ranaudo, who, like Alcantara, is having a great season in Double-A.

White Sox right-hander Andre Rienzo was impressive in his inning. Pitching the third for the World team, the Brazil native retired Austin Hedges, Billy Hamilton and Delino DeShields Jr. in order, the last out coming on a check-swing strikeout.
