Musician to play at village church

GRAND DETOUR – Michael Andrews, cellist, will give a concert at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Peter, 8225 S. Main St.

Andrews performs with the Miami Symphony. He also is a cello instructor.

Donations will be accepted. The church seats 90 people.

At 10 a.m. July 27, Andrews will conduct a master class at the church for string players and ensemble groups of all ages. The program is free for observers or $20 for participants who bring their instrument. Scholarships are available.
