Christian Women having luncheon

ROCK FALLS – “Ma and Pa Kettle’s Garden” will be the theme of the Rock River Area Christian Women’s Club meeting Wednesday.

The luncheon will be at the Candlelight Inn, 2200 First Ave. Those attending can bring baked goods, garden produce, and flowers at 10:30 a.m. for a farmers market silent auction. Bidding will start at 11 a.m., and the meal at 11:30 a.m.

Peter and Christina Buyno of Prophetstown will provide the music. Annette Budzban, who spent 18 years as a nurse manager and childbirth educator, until an illness left her homebound for 8 years, will speak.

The cost is $10. Reservations are due by 9 p.m. Monday, and can be made by calling 815-948-2107.
