The Ugandan Orphans Choir performs Wednesday evening at Messiah Lutheran Church in Sterling. The choir, comprised of 10 children from the Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria, is touring the United States. The choir is part of Childcare Worldwide, a church-based nonprofit organization that sponsors children in developing nations. Choir members tour the United States every year to bring awareness of the organization and share their culture, hoping to inspire more people to sponsor other children who are living in poverty. All of the choir members have already have sponsors.
