MANLIUS – The Manlius Fire Department had its June meeting at the fire hall.

It was conducted by Chief Aaron Roush; five members attended.

Among the business discussed was a golf outing for Sept. 7 at Hunter’s Ridge in Princeton. A battery for the office backup was purchased, and the department has six new radios.

Chris Maynard submitted a letter of resignation due to work and family obligations; and a check and thank-you note were received from Dorie Savitch. Money also came in from Tops IL 2001 for use of the meeting room.

On Aug. 3, Manlius Day, the firefighters will serve food.

Attendance awards were won by Mary Hartz and Robert Reglin.

The Inter Community Fyr Fyters Association will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Buda.
