Making a splash at the Petunia Festival

Lainey Block, 7, has big plans for a big splash Saturday afternoon at Midland States Bank's Kid’s Day at Washington School. The annual event, part of the Petunia Festival activities, featured big-wheel races, sack races, arts and crafts and water fights courtesy of the Dixon Rural Fire Department, as well as a magician and exotic animals from Hoo Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Durand.
