MORRISON – A Morrison woman lost all her possessions and several cats Wednesday afternoon when a fire destroyed her trailer at Tall Pines Trailer Park, 13964 Round Grove Road.

Deborah Burkett, 55, was not home when the fire broke out around 3:15 p.m. Firefighters were on scene by 3:20 and had the blaze out by 4:35 p.m., said Joe Bielema, Morrison Fire Department's assistant chief.

She had no insurance. The cause of the fire is not yet known but is not considered suspicious; the state fire marshal's office is investigating, Bielema said.
