Bernstein is a 1992 Sterling High School graduate and the daughter of longtime SHS teacher John Neahring and his wife, Barbara, of Sterling.

Bernstein will perform her original songs as well as some traditional favorites at four free concerts in Sterling: at 7 tonight at East Jordan United Methodist Church, 22027 Polo Road, her childhood church; at 7 p.m. Saturday at Grandon Civic Center downtown; at 10:45 a.m. Sunday back at the church, and at 7 p.m. Thursday at Air Play Sports, 115 E. Third St.

The tour is coming in advance of her fourth CD; copies of her previous CDs will be available at all concerts.
